I have taken up the handle "Sky Pilot" because it defines what I am and speaks to my fanatical aeronautic avocations. Everyone used to know what it meant, but that's not so today. In the military the chaplain became known as the "Sky Pilot" and so since, the preacher; born in the parsonage, raised on the mission field, I am both a PK and an MK, and I am a missionary, a sky pilot.

Ministering twenty years in the U.S.A. and enduring 10 years of seminary studies, I returned (grew up here '50 -'55) to Japan in 1985 with my family (wife & four children-now two college-graduated and married daughters (Jennifer and Chad Huddleston, and Jocelyn and Chris Wolfe), the second making me grandpa, then a college-graduated graphics-designer son (Jeremy) with Macromedia, and a last son (Jonathan-RC Pilot) committed to graduating college, too). My ministry is with Osaka Bible Seminary; OBS is basically a preacher-training institution. Upon my father's death in 1989 I became president for these years of transition, bonding the past to the future. Eventually I hope to link an OBS homepage for those interested. My roots are in the Christian Church/Churches of Christ and I graduated from San Jose Bible College, San Jose, CA; Lincoln Christian Seminary, Lincoln, IL; and took my doctorate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL.
